In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in San Antonio; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Texas are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 AM–9:30 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Lin’s Seafood and Sushi Buffet at (210) 865-1889; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. We were excited to try a new buffet….never coming back. The sushi was warm, the raw fish tasted like ammonia, the rice was dried out. I paid 60$ for a two adults and two kids and after my husband threw up twice in their bathroom. We Told the manager and he said that no one else was getting Sick so all I can do is give you a 30% discount and gave me $16 back. After only being there for 30 minutes. All I ate was chicken nuggets. It is ridiculous. It’s horrible service. Ordered a medium steak and got a rare steak didn’t take a bite because all the rest of the food tasted off. Even the Jell-O was hot.

We came to this new location for the first time on July 23rd. It was a nice new facility and the food was mostly very good and plenty of choices. The staff was nice and stayed ontop of removing empty plates frequently. We will definitely come back on a regular basis as we did at the previous location.

I tried Lin's newest location on 410 near 151. It was pretty good 👍, I think there are slightly tastier Asian style buffets in town but this one is still pretty good. Sushi looked good but what surprised me was thier dimsum section. The dimsum looked great but was average in flavor. Still awesome to see at a buffet. The service was better than average. The only issue I had at this location was the tight serving lanes at the buffet lines. If you are super thin, OK maybe you'll do fine walking around but it is still a tight walk through. The weekend buffet cost is a little pricey so make sure you check your bank account for enough funds if you take a large group. Lin's is good for a try to see if its the buffet for you.

Lin’s Seafood and Sushi Buffet in San Antonio We honestly didn’t expect much at first, but WOW… this place surprised us in the best way. The moment you walk in, it’s clean, organized, and super welcoming 👌 The vibe is nice simple but elegant perfect to chill and enjoy a good meal with friends or family. Now the FOOD… If you’re looking for a sushi buffet in San Antonio, THIS is the spot. Fresh sushi, constantly restocked, and actually flavorful (not like other buffets 👀). Plus, tons of seafood, hot dishes, and options for everyone. And let’s talk about VALUE For the price, you get A LOT. Quality + variety + good service = totally worth it. Staff was friendly, quick, and always keeping things clean Overall: great food, great atmosphere, great price. Definitely coming back next time I’m in San Antonio!
